Syme mentioned starting a reading group for Intro to the Devout Life. I would *love* that, as it's only been two months and I manifestly need to read it again.
Who's interested in that? And if it goes through, then, when we get through that, how about a group for True Devotion to Mary? (The advanced course, hm?) I find it's hard to stick to devotional reading on my own, not to mention trying to winnow out and understand everything that's said: and without those things, how can anyone begin to put the insights into practice?
Luckily I've been having to research project tracking/collaboration Web sites for work, so I have a few cool ideas about separate venues for putting this group together, that wouldn't be any more complicated than checking the forums but also wouldn't clutter them for those who prefer not to participate. I'm willing to organize if someone else will lead (I am a born follower). We could definitely branch out and include literary readings, too, if this takes off (per Syme's idea).
What say, friends?
