Thanks Cristina! From the interview, this sounds like an excellent book to read. And I think we'll be sending Mr. Roeper a copy of Dappled Things.

Dr. Roper is an excellent professor! I had him in grad school, and he was a wonderful rock on sanity in the midst of a course on critical thory, much of which is ridiculously postmodern. If you live inth e DFW area, I highly recommend trying to take a class with Dr. Roper. I haven't read his book yet. but I think I'll have to look up a copy.
