Yo, THAT was interesting.
Good: Really interesting story, I feel that there was some sort of symbolism going on, but I liked it simply for the character-portrait of Leo and his brother. Very very creative, I thought. The dialog was very funny and gave a good sense of the personalities of the various characters.
Bad: The grammar seems shakey, or possibly the sentence construction. Honestly I had no idea what was going on for the first few paragraphs.

On second reading, the first few paragraphs make much more sense.

That was a lot of fun to read! If I understand it correctly, the real object of satire is Reggie, right? I mean, Ed is just crazy, but Reggie who should know better is too lost in his pretend "artsiness" and actually ends up imitating his brother rather than doing anything useful with his life. Am I at least somewhat on track?
Are you submitting it to Dappled Things, by the way?

You think I should submit this? Honestly, I wasn't sure. Well I'll post another story in a few days or so. Thanks for the comments.

I think you should submit it. Dappled Things needs more humorous pieces like this one!

Quite enjoyable - the solemnity (if that is the right word) of the brother/pope calmly saying Mass and then excommunicating his flock reminds me of the wonderful Dr. Demento skit "Boot to the Head."
