Here's a link to my most recent cartoon... a bit of semi-original fan art with a reflective bent. www.deviantart.com/view/39452806/I "painted" it using the painting software ArtRage 2 (http://www.artrage.com), which is available in a wonderful free version if anyone is interested. I added the text and edging afterwords using the wonderful free Photoshop-like image editor GimpShop (http://plasticbugs.org). Comments are welcome, especially advice on improving my grass. May God bless you all. John

The grass is marvelous. Of special note are the clouds; those are intense! I like the shaft of light too. You get such a diversity of textures in the picture, what with the clouds, grass, robe, plastic-looking bunny, fading far-off horizon, etc. Sweet~!

Thanks. Perhaps there is too much of a diversity of textures, but I'm not a disciplined artist in any area I dabble in, whether it be music, poetry, writing or art. Like any of those areas, my work tends to be a bit eclectic. i hold onto what I like, and don't fret about what isn't important to me... I had to laugh inside though when I imaged in my mind a plastic bunny. It just made me think of a lovely front yard with plastic pink flamingos upon it... or some similar juxtaposition. Perhaps I should have drawn a bit of fur on the bunny? *John laughs*
