Anyone here play the pipe organ? I love that instrument and I wish that I could play it myself. I do play classical piano music though. Since this whole idea is to start a new Catholic literary movement, shouldn't it include all of the arts? Including music? Share your thoughts!

I wish I could play the organ... or any other instrument for that matter! I love music, but unfortunately, I have never gotten around to learning how to play it. I like the organ, but I think I'm a bigger fan of the piano.

Chalk me up as sadly unmusical. I played the flute and sang theatrically in high school; I can still do both without offending too many amateur ears, tho' I'm sure I'd make a professional twitch. I like to listen, though.

I took up piano lessons as a kid. I also took voice lessons for a while. I can play the violin (I studied as an adult) but I do it mostly for pleasure. The only public performing I've done was in the recital and in the annual Christmas outreach program that my grandmother organizes for the families of her household help. I come from a musical family, though. One of my sister is a musicologist who teaches at the University of Sto. Tomas (a university run by Dominicans and the oldest university in our country). My three other sisters play the cello, the clarinet, and the flute, respectively, and have been active in their school glee clubs. My brother plays the guitar. I think it's not too late for anyone of you guys to take music lessons.
