I can see the gleam of burning hamlets reflected in Mr. Aparicio's evil grin as he interrupts a poem called "Autumn Interrupts." (Berni--burning--coincidence? Psssh, yeah. Thatched-roof cottages!) But anyway, excellent stuff this issue. I liked the growing baby poem: THAT is the sort of thing an "Abortion Story" needs to be. But I think my favorite was the "Thundershowers" poem, which has the coolest first line EVER. With great restraint, I withhold the obvious pun about hoping that Mr. MacArthur will return.
